Republicans have managed to strip funding for Obamacare from a measure that will keep the government running until March,
The Hill reports. The bill, known as a continuing resolution, could be acted on as early as today.

The Hill reports that an earlier measure included provisions that would have funded a healthcare commission, enforcement mechanisms for mandates and regulations, and a Prevention and Public Health Fund among others. That 2,000 page proposal was abandoned after concerns were raised about earmarks and health care funding.
The Hill said the new continuing resolution runs just 36 pages and specifies only one Health and Human Services program dealing with home energy assistance.
