Sen.
Evan Bayh, D-Ind., retired from the Senate last year expressing distress at the loss of bipartisanship and the gain of corruption. But Democrats are upset with their former colleague for the typical post-Congress, highly paid posts he has accepted and his decision to work for Fox News,
Politico reports.

Bayh already has joined investment firm Apollo Global Management and law firm/lobbying group McGuire Woods. And this week Bayh announced he is joining Fox News as a paid analyst.
He “really set himself up for criticism by suggesting he was leaving the Senate because he couldn’t deal with the partisanship or the corruption anymore,” Ed Kilgore, a veteran Democratic operative told Politico.
Moderate Democrats include those who want “modernization” of the Democratic Party and those who just “want to cut deals,” he said. “Evan Bayh has always moved back and forth between the two camps and has very much landed in the latter one.”
