The computer age has brought with it all sorts of issues involving fraud. And Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., learned about it first hand when a rogue message went out over his Twitter page reading, "U love torturing me w this [s***],"
Politico reports.

Readers were surely confused, and many were probably offended by the obscenity as well. So the retiring senator had to issue an apology. The tweet reads: "From Dodd Staff - Apologies to Dodd's followers, last tweet was not from Chris Dodd."
And a Dodd spokesman issued the following statement: "Due to a technical mistake, a message was inadvertently sent from Senator Dodd's twitter account. Senator Dodd did not send the message. We have corrected the situation and apologize to his followers for the mistake and inappropriate language used in the message.”
