NJ Gov. Christie Demurs When Asked About Meeting Beck

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he’s thankful for all the national attention he’s been getting. But he apparently is selective about whom he accepts invitations from, according to a report at NorthJersey.com. Fox talk-show host Glenn Beck had told a crowd during an appearance at an amusement park on Sunday in New Jersey that he admires what Christie has been doing

"I would love to meet Chris Christie," Beck said.

Christie didn’t respond directly when asked at a GOP campaign appearance in Des Moines whether he shared such sentiment and would like to meet Beck.

"I heard that Glenn wants to meet me. I heard he was in New Jersey," Christie said. "Listen, I feel really lucky that I have so many people out there who are saying that my policies are good policies and all of those people have my gratitude. And he, among others, does."

Christie has declined repeatedly to appear on Beck's show.
