with other heavyweight g
overnors, Politico reports.
The RGA is calling it the “Remember November Tour.” Other participants include Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, the RGA’s vice chairman. The tour will begin Tuesday in New Mexico, Wyoming and South Dakota.
“The Democrats who are bad-mouthing our candidates and ideas on the stump this year are recycling the same worn-out talking points they used last year in New Jersey and Virginia,” says RGA Communications Director Mike Schrimpf. “Republicans will be talking about their records and ideas. The records of Govs. Christie and McDonnell appeal to every independent and swing voter in the nation in a way that Democrats could only dream of.”
