Suzanne Somers credits her experience on “Dancing With the Stars” with helping her to trim down and develop a more toned body.
The actress, author, and “Thighmaster” queen said she didn’t lose a lot of weight, but lowered her level of body fat during the competition, Fox News reports.

“I didn’t lose much weight. I weigh 130; I started out at 134 but what I lost was body fat. I don’t really have any body fat now,” Somers said. “[Tony] worked me so hard and I loved it every day.”
Somers was eliminated from the dancing competition on “Disney Night” Monday after the heel of her shoe got caught in her dress during her “Lady and the Tramp” routine with dance partner Tony Dovolani.
After her Monday night elimination, the 68-year-old “Three’s Company” start told Fox: “That was a bummer. That was just one of those things that never entered my mind, never, ever that there would be an issue with the heel getting caught in the hem of my dress. And I couldn’t extricate it.”
She added that her departure will give her time to rehearse for “Suzanne Sizzles,” her one-woman nightclub show in Las Vegas opening on May 23.
