'60 Minutes' Correspondent Back in Hospital After Sexual Assault

CBS News’ Lara Logan has been readmitted to the hospital to deal with complications from a 2011 sexual assaulted she suffered while reporting in Egypt, a “60 Minutes” spokesperson has confirmed.

“We were sorry to learn that Lara was readmitted to the hospital yesterday,” the spokesperson said, Yahoo.com reported, citing an article by TheWrap. “We wish her a speedy recovery.”

A friend of Logan’s told Breitbart News “people have no idea the physical suffering she has been enduring due to the brutal sexual assault she encountered in Egypt during the Arab Spring while reporting for 60 Minutes.”
