Joan Rivers' Daughter 'Ready to Sue'

Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa is “lawyered up and ready to sue” over the comedian's death from complications of a throat procedure last month, according to celebrity Website TMZ.

The firm — Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz — will reportedly file a medical malpractice and wrongful death lawsuit against the clinic that performed Rivers’ procedure.

TMZ reports that Melissa Rivers retained the firm Tuesday, but the suit won't be filed for a month.
