An autopsy has determined SurveyMonkey CEO David Goldberg may have suffered an irregular heartbeat that contributed to his fatal fall from a treadmill while vacationing in Mexico.
The autopsy report, obtained by
CBS News, suggests that the 47-year-old husband of Facebook CEO Sheryl Sandberg had a heart arrhythmia, which can cause dizziness and lightheaded, as well as weakness or fatigue.
Mexican officials have said that the father of two suffered a traumatic head injury after falling from a treadmill during a workout at a vacation resort.
Goldberg was buried Tuesday following a packed, 1,700-seat memorial service at Stanford University attended by some of the world's top tech executives.
