Candice Bergen’s new memoir espouses a surprising public health message:
I’m overweight, get over it.
“Let me just come right out and say it: I am fat,” the “Murphy Brown” star writes in her new memoir, “A Fine Romance,” reports
Fox News.
“In the past 15 years . . . I have put on 30 pounds. I live to eat. None of this ‘eat to live’ stuff for me. I am a champion eater. No carb is safe — no fat, either,” says Bergen, reports Fox News, quoting naughtygossip.com.
The memoir is Bergen’s second and focuses on her 15-year marriage to French director Louis Malle and remarriage to New York businessman and philanthropist Marshall Rose.
“Dieting is out of my purview,” the 68-year-old actress says. “I crave cookies . . . all the things that dilate my pupils.”
