Tuesday, 10 February 2015 12:27 PM EST

The family of Bobbi Kristina Brown has reportedly decided to take her off life support but will wait until Wednesday, February 11, according to NJ.com. February 11 will mark the third anniversary of the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, who was found dead in a bathtub from an overdose.

According to news reports, 81-year-old Cissy Houston, Whitney's mother and Bobbi Kristina's grandmother, talked to the family over the weekend about letting her granddaughter die on the anniversary of Whitney's death.

A Brown family member reported that, Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina's father, plans to have life support removed at midnight Wednesday.

Bobbi Kristina has been hospitalized in a medically induced coma since she was found facedown and unresponsive in her bathtub by her boyfriend Nick Gordon on January 31. Gordon and a friend administered CPR until medical personnel arrived. She's been hospitalized ever since at Emory University Hospital.

The decision to remove her from life support follows a public candlelight vigil on Monday where hundreds of people gathered to pray for her recovery.
