Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, is claiming drug abuse is to blame for her medical condition, Yahoo.com reports.

“I’ll tell you the honest truth, Krissy, she was under a lot of stress and we were all doing drugs and you know, all, all drinking,” Gordon said in a telephone call obtained by TMZ.

Gordon was reportedly unaware that he was being recorded. In a transcript published by TMZ, the call was taped by “a member of Bobby Brown‘s family” and that the conversation was recorded on February 21, three weeks after Brown fell ill.

“She just did too much man,” Gordon reportedly said. During the call, Gordon also blasted everyone who believes he had something to do with the incident.
