Herbal Supplements Contain Contaminants

A Congressional investigation found that almost all of the herbal dietary supplements they tested contained small amounts of lead and other contaminants. According to the New York Times, about 25 percent of American adults take herbal supplements, and scientific organizations say the FDA doesn't do enough to enforce their safety and quality.
