Candida Causes Irritable Bowel

When you experience gas, bloating, diarrhea or constipation, and your doctors can't determine the cause, they give it the label of "spastic colon (or irritable bowel syndrome/IBS)" instead of more effectively searching for the source of your symptoms.

The most effective way to eliminate spastic colon/IBS is to treat the underlying causes. This is sometimes a food sensitivity such as sensitivity to lactose in milk or fructose in sodas.

More often, however, it is caused by a fungal/Candida infection (missed by standard testing). In my experience most patients' spastic colon resolves when this underlying bowel infection is treated.

Fungal infections cause a stuffy nose, eventually causing the nasal passages and sinuses to swell shut.

Whenever something becomes blocked in your body (for instance, in your appendix or gallbladder), a secondary bacterial infection results — and your sinuses are no exception.

When this happens, your nasal mucus turns yellow-green, and you go to the doctor in pain, where you'll like get an antibiotic.

The antibiotic knocks out the bacterial infection and sometimes leaves you feeling better. Unfortunately, it also worsens the underlying yeast infection in your nose, causing more swelling and blockages and, consequently, more attacks of bacterial infections.

This is why sinusitis in the U.S. (most often caused by fungal/yeast overgrowth) usually becomes chronic.

Yeast grow by fermenting sugar. So your sweet tooth actually feeds them. In addition, having treated thousands of patients with Candida/yeast overgrowth, it is clear to me that the Candida also triggers sugar craving so that the yeast can get fed.

Sugar cravings from yeast don't make you irritable. They simply send you in search of something sweet.
