Medicine is one industry that has seemingly remained unaffected by the evolution of creative design techniques. However, a design-led pharmacy concept that could change all that has taken off in the U.S.

The simplistic typography lists the exact contents of each envelope, minimizing the risk of confusion for clients on multiple medications or supplements. Each personalized pack is stored in a pill dispenser, meaning customers don't have to clutter up the bathroom with bottles and tubes.
The service, which is now available in 31 states, can combine supplements such as vitamin tablets with prescription medication. Each shipment is delivered in a two-week roll of packs, organized by date.
PillPack is the brainchild of engineer Elliot Cohen and pharmacist and design aficionado TJ Parker. The pair met through MIT's Hacking Medicine and set up PillPack "to prove that managing meds could actually be simple."
