Low testosterone is generally considered a problem for men. But, surprisingly, women can also suffer low levels of the male hormone, which causes a range of symptoms.

Although women's bodies don't produce as much testosterone as men's, it helps keep their emotions in check, in addition to driving libido, Prevention reports.

Five signs you might have low testosterone:

• You're no longer interested in sex.
• You have trouble losing weight.
• You're always tired.
• You feel depressed and/or anxious.
• You have a weak grip.
