Actor Hugh Jackman has revealed yet another bout with skin cancer, warning fans to wear sunscreen to keep the common disease at bay.
Jackman, 47, posted an
Instagram selfie showing his nose bandaged after having a basal cell carcinoma removed.
“An example of what happens when you don't wear sunscreen,” he said. “Basal Cell. The mildest form of cancer but serious, nonetheless. PLEASE USE SUNSCREEN and get regular check-ups.”
The Australian actor has been treated at least three times for basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer.
Most of the 3.3 million Americans diagnosed with skin cancer each year have basal cell carcinoma, according to the American Cancer Society.
