Hooters Waitress Donates Kidney to Customer

A waitress at a Hooters in Georgia is donating a kidney to a longtime regular customer of the restaurant.

Mariana Villarreal offered to donate her kidney to Don Thomas, a frequent patron of the Hooters in Roswell, who lost both of his kidneys to cancer, Fox News reports.

The procedure is scheduled for this week.

Villarreal says she hopes others will be inspired to donate organs to those in need.
