A Utah mother whose 19-year-old son died Tuesday after a month in a coma blames his death on the flu shot.

Lori Webb says she believes her son Chandler died from an adverse reaction to the vaccine which was given to him the day before he fell ill. The shot was part of a routine physical the teen received before he was to go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Webb's direct cause of death was swelling of the brain, his mother said. "We're angry because we believe it's the flu shot that (caused) it," she told The Salt Lake Tribune. "I can't describe how hard it is to lose a child."
