A leading marketplace for affordable healthcare announced the launch of a new service for one-stop online doctor visits to compare prices of telemedicine services. GoodRx revealed that it will now offer an aggregate of options for health care providers at GoodRx telehealth marketplace.
“This is an unprecedented time with the country facing the COVID-19 crisis,” says Doug Hirsch, co-CEO and co-founder of GoodRx. “As Americans stay home, and with our front-line hospitals and clinics experiencing tremendous demand, we want to help people get access to service for a range of medical issues. Our goal with the telehealth marketplace is to give people all their options, services and prices, so that they can get the treatment they need.”
Currently, care is being offered to residents in all 50 states from services from over 10 partners including Hey Doctor, K Health, One Medical, and Doctor on Demand. Some of the services are offered free of charge. For example, the COVID-19 screening and triage site offers a free patient evaluation based on medical history, symptoms and recent travel, as well as counseling and education based on CDC guidelines.
The marketplace offers telehealth services for over 100 conditions, including coronavirus, cold, flu, birth control, asthma, depression and many more. You can also stay up to date on coronavirus information by visiting Goodrx.com/Covid-19.
