What Happens When You Drink 10 Cokes a Day?

Ever wondered what would happen to your body if you consumed a soda every hour or two every day? A 50-year-old Los Angeles man consumed 10 cans of Coca-Cola daily for a month to find out.

And the results weren’t pretty.

A the end of his month-long soda binge, George Prior’s previously gym-toned body packed on nearly a pound of weight each day — for a total of 28. Prior also saw his blood pressure rise to an unhealthy 145/96. He also reported strong cravings for more sugar — despite the added sugar boost from his soda diet, The Telegraph reports.

"I did the experiment to get people thinking and talking about how much sugar they eat and how unhealthy it is,” said Prior, who chronicled his Coke consumption in a series of daily online videos. “People need to be aware of the real and powerful damaging effects of sugar on their health.”

He added that he doesn’t intend to repeat the experience.

"I would prefer not to do it again," he said. "I don't like being this heavy."
