What Can I Do to Stop Wrinkles?

By    |   Thursday, 16 April 2015 11:53 AM EDT

Question: Is there anything I can do to keep from getting wrinkles? I don’t spend much time in the sun and wear only little makeup.

Dr. Hibberd's answer:

I wish I had more proven recommendations to guide you to. Many new products are now seeking approval. But aside from avoiding excessive sun exposure and using facial moisturizers, the only real options may be a visit to your dermatologist for evaluation of light therapy treatments that can clear up small wrinkles.

Botox or filler treatments may also help. But be careful with the Botox, as repeated applications may encourage muscle atrophy and perhaps even deeper wrinkling in some people.
