Yes. In experienced hands, lasers can safely reduce the appearance of scars. They can also be used to shrink lesions and remove ink tattoos and scar tissue.

Keep in mind there are different laser wavelengths for differing applications, so be sure to discuss your particular needs with your primary care physician, dermatologist and/or plastic surgeon before choosing a treatment facility.
