Question: Lately I have been getting slightly dizzy when I roll over in bed or when I bend down. I also have had tinnitus for years. I'm a 64-year-old male. What could be causing this?
Dr. Hibberd’s answer:
Dizziness when you change posture most likely relates to a disorder of your inner ear. The presence of tinnitus adds a degree of concern. You should have an evaluation by family physician, who can check for disorders of the ear and potential circulation problems.
If your primary care doctor can’t determine the cause of your dizziness, visit an ear, nose, and throat specialist referred by your family physician.
