Question: I have dry skin, dry hair, and dry mouth. The outside of my eyebrows are gone and I have facial pain that has been diagnosed as trigeminal neuralgia. I have been able to cope with the pain, but I am extremely fatigued. My thyroid has been tested and I’ve been told it’s normal. Could I have Sjogren's syndrome?
Dr. Hibberd's Answer:
You need to see your physician for evaluation of your autoimmune disease (Sjogren's syndrome is an example). Your fatigue needs evaluation, as does your facial pain and hair loss.
