Lauretta Taggert recently celebrated her 100th birthday. That's rare enough in and of itself, but what makes Tagger so unique is that she is an exercise instructor, and she's still teaching!
Taggert has been teaching exercise classes at Riverview Highlands senior apartment complex in St. Louis, Minnesota.
What's her secret? She insists it's a positive attitude. In addition, Taggert believes that a grateful attitude is also a key to her longevity.
Taggert hasn't let technology pass her by, and uses Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends. She also exercises her mind. She's an avid reader and exercises her mind by playing bridge.
According to kare11.com, Taggert passed along one more bit of advice to Jana Kyser, the property manager at the senior apartment complex "Honey, don't ever let your hair go gray."
