Hillary Clinton's campaign schedule is oddly lighter as her presidential bid enters its final weeks — and National Review questions whether the reason is more than just preparation for her debate with Donald Trump on Monday.
"Hillary Clinton isn't having any lingering pneumonia issues, right? No recurring dehydration? No other health issues that she's hid from the public, right? Because we really haven't seen as much of her as you might expect, less than 50 days away from Election Day," National Review's Jim Geraghty writes.
He points to a Politico item chronicling the campaign schedules of the presidential candidates and their vice-presidential running mates and points out that Clinton's seems to have lightened her number of appearances.
"I realize she's probably doing debate prep, but has she really done only two public events this week, one in Orlando, one in Philadelphia? Is she really listed for almost no public events in the coming weeks?" Geraghty writes.
"She's fine, just really, really, really focused on debate preparation, right? Right?"
Earlier this month, Clinton was felled for several days with a pneumonia infection.
