Democrats are furious at former Rep. Anthony Weiner and his eleventh-hour shakeup of the presidential election — one that spells trouble for Hillary Clinton.

The New York Times interviewed prominent Democrats and liberals who took their gloves off when asked about the FBI reopening of the Clinton email case based on thousands of emails on Weiner's private server.

"I can't stand him — even before this," Rep. Carolyn Maloney of New York told the newspaper.

"We're still talking about that [expletive] during a presidential election?" John Burton, the chairman of the California Democratic Party, said to The Times.

"He is like a recurring nightmare. It's like one of those 'Damien movies — it's like every time you think he's dead, he keeps coming again." the Rev. Al Sharpton said, The Times reported.

On Friday, FBI Director James Comey said the agency will review messages from Weiner's server to see if they relate to Clinton, whose top aide Huma Abedin is married to Weiner.

The FBI's separate probe of Weiner revolved around allegations that he was sexting a minor.
