Hillary Clinton's unpopularity rating soared to an all-time high, rising 6 points in three weeks, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Wednesday.
The poll results showed the candidates virtually even on unfavorability among registered voters:
- 59 percent view Clinton unfavorably
- 60 percent view Donald Trump unfavorably
Clinton-Trump are the most unpopular candidates since George H.W. Bush back in 1992, according to ABC.
Clinton's popularity took the biggest hit among women - an 18-point swing from favorable to unfavorable, according to the poll:
- July: Women viewed Clinton favorably, 54 percent to 43 percent
- August: Women view Clinton unfavorably, 52 percent to 45 percent
It's the first time in a year that women view Clinton unfavorably, according to ABC.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted Aug. 24-28 among a random national sample of 1,020 adults. Overall results have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 points.
