'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood Hospitalized

‘Teen Mom’ cast member Amber Portwood has been hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt in her Indiana home Tuesday afternoon. The 21-year-old reality t.v. star was found unconscious with a rope tied around her neck, reports RadarOnline.

She is currently being treated at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson, Indiana.
A source says Portwood admitted to hospital staff that she ingested a variety of pills before being found Tuesday afternoon.

It was on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary Shirley’s mother who found Portwood. After receiving word from Shirley of a disturbing conversation he had with Portwood, Shirley’s mother went to the house to investigate. According to the source, she found Portwood unconscious on the couch.
