Jersey Shore to be Recast

The “Jersey Shore” cast just returned from Italy, where they filmed their fourth season of the MTV reality hit. Though the cast is set to film one more season in Seaside Heights this month, the fifth season will be this cast’s last, reports PerezHilton.

An insider has come out to the celebrity gossip blog saying that “after this group shoots season 5 this summer, that will be the end for them. The new stars will be a lot cheaper…plus the current gang can feel free to pursue spinoffs.”

The cast members of the hit series have been demanding more and more money for each episode, and their extraneous business pursuits have caused numerous scheduling conflicts. So, it seems MTV is finally moving on.

We’ll have to wait and see which guidos and guidettes are tapped to replace the notorious bunch.
