Google Unveils Newest Social Application

Google has unveiled its newest social application, Google+ (pronounced Google Plus), reports Search Engine Watch.

Google+ is designed to be an “ongoing social project that combines numerous social services into a convenient collection,” reports Search Engine Watch.

Features of the service will include sections for basic profile information including “about,” photos, and videos, and will be known as the “Stream.”

+Circles is the most touted feature of the Google+ service, and will allow users to group online connections and hand-pick who they choose to share their information with.

Google will start testing the service with “a small number of people.”
