Evening News Ratings Surge

For the first time in 10 years, evening news broadcasts on NBC, ABC, and CBS have had a collective increase in viewers, reports PerezHilton.

NBC Nightly News had its best quarter since 2006, ABC World News had its largest audience in three years, and CBS Evening News viewership was up 8 percent from this same time last year.

Each night, an average of 21 million U.S. viewers tune in to the evening news.
