Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen admitted in a new interview in Sports Illustrated that he took steroids in 1989 to get in to character for his starring role in 'Major League.'
According to Sheen, it is the only time he ever did steroids, although he has admitted to habitual use of other drugs such as crack cocaine.
Sheen claims the steroids enhanced his performance stating, “[his] fastball went from 79 [miles-per-hour] to like 85.”
He says he quit the drug when he lost control of his temper, almost beating up strangers commenting on his haircut.
