WASHINGTON -- Oliver Stone is taking on Wall Street, again.
The 63-year-old Hollywood filmmaker just wrapped up "Wall Street 2," the sequel to 1987's "Wall Street." Infamous financier Gordon Gekko who preached "greed is good" is back, but the big players are banks and hedge funds.
Stone spoke about the film Wednesday night while talking to a class at American University in Washington that focuses on his work.
Stone said it's a complicated but familiar story with greed and envy. While the first film focused on illegal trading, Stone said "greed is now legal" in the new film.
True to form, Stone also criticized mainstream media, the defense industry and President Barack Obama. He also said ramping up the war in Afghanistan could be the beginning of the end for the U.S.
