Palin: Good News for Mitt Romney?

Many in the political world feel if Sarah Pain enters the presidential race, it will be bad news for Romney. She has better name recognition, greater star power, and is wildly popular with the conservative base, an area where Romney is lacking.

But Slate magazine argues Sarah Palin could be good for Romney because the media coverage would be split between Romney and Palin making it harder for the lesser known and possible insurgent candidates to get noticed.

Slate says one thing is for sure, the biggest winners in a Palin-Romney matchup are the TV producers.
