Sarah Palin took a break from her tour of historic sites to comment on the debt ceiling debate currently going on in Washington, D.C., reports the
Wall Street Journal. She said it would show an enormous failure of leadership if the House passed a debt ceiling increase. She told reporters gathered at her clambake that increasing the limit would just give the big spenders another tool in their arsenal.
Palin also took the time to comment on developments in Afghanistan. Earlier this week, Palin said Afghan President Hamid Karzai's call for outside forces to be treated as occupiers was a dangerous game. Today she said in light of Karzai's view, the U.S. should examine whether it should remain in Afghanistan if the host country does not want us there.
