Don't Accept Planned Parenthood's 'Evil'

Dr. Alveda C. King By Wednesday, 11 September 2013 11:46 PM EDT Current | Bio | Archive

All too many accept evil as good and good as evil.

Planned Parenthood doles out death and tries to sell the package in a glittering lie called “family planning.”

Sounds like what the snake did to Eve thousands of years ago.

He told her that if she ate the forbidden fruit, she would not die. Well, she did — just like millions of aborted babies and hundreds of their mothers, who died from abortions.

Parents ate the forbidden lies of the abortionists, and millions have died — legally since 1973.

And yet, people invite PPH to their churches and rallies and accept their free condoms, tainted grant monies (many of which are obtained from our tax dollars) and all of the other trappings that promise happiness and bring sadness.

As I point out the obvious — that there are wolves when we need good shepherds — please don’t be discouraged.

We are actually winning this battle.

In the ongoing commitment to encourage and equip you, I want to recommend a new book by Dr. Penny Smith: "The Second Woman Bible Study: Healing from Intimate Partner Violence and Post-Abortion Grief."

Also, please visit my website at www.africanamericanoutreach.com for new updates and videos and other tools that can assist you in fighting the good fight against abortion.

Finally, as we move away from the long hot summer towards Thanksgiving and Christmas, and next year towards the March for Life, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Black History Month — and yes, the 50th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Acts — we can see that we have a lot ahead of us.

Dr. Alveda C. King grew up in the civil rights movement led by her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She is a pastoral associate and director of African-American outreach for Priests for Life and Gospel of Life Ministries. Her family home in Birmingham, Ala., was bombed, as was her father’s church office in Louisville, Ky. Alveda herself was jailed during the open housing movement. Read more reports from Dr. Alveda C.
