Let’s face it; we live in a sad country these days. For the first time in over two hundred and fifty years, America is a sad country. We are in the dumps unlike we’ve ever seen before.
Down through the years, we’ve been mad, resolute, determined, happy, thrilled and proud.
Even after assassinations of presidents our grief eventually stirred us to determination.
Determination to bring the nation together and determination to win the space race over the communists. We won at both.
Except for the big government socialists defeating America from within, over the Vietnam War, we’ve always been winners. Down through the years, issues have brought us together, from Manifest Destiny to defeating Nazi Germany, the Empire of Japan — and ultimately defeating the communist Soviet Union.
Even during the Great Depression, we were resolute. I know, I asked my mother.
She said her family was poor, but so was everyone else’s.
Yet they all worked hard to help each other through a very difficult time.
So here we are, barely one year later, Joe Biden has given us the loss in Afghanistan —running away with his tail between his legs; nonexistent supply lines; high gas prices and long gas lines; a government we despise; an IRS we want pulled to pieces; the bowing down before his masters in Communist Beijing; high inflation; a sieve for a border; ghost flights in the dark of night dropping the unknown and unvaccinated into communities that will shoulder the burden and expenses of untold thousands of illegals; the list goes on and on.
Cargo ships at sea, with no ports of call?
Discrimination is in liberals' DNA, as incredibly, in NYC, "non-whites" can go to the head of the line — literally ahead of ailing whites — to get lifesaving anti-COVID-19 medicines.
Can this possibly be justice and equality?
Biden is like a character out of a Dr. Seuss story of a man who turns everything he touches into mud. Or worse.
He is by nature a morose man, and is a foe to all decent Americans.
He is a president who doesn’t understand the Bully Pulpit. His talking heads like the pitiful Jen Psaki are even worse. All combined, they make a loud dissonance, one definitely not in synch with mighty music of America.
Biden is the enemy of all decent Americans. Biden is also the enemy of everything we hold dear. There is no vision in this man or in those who follow him; therefore, the sadness comes from the loss of hope, something we in America have never before lost.
And, Biden, Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi make Americans saddest of all.
