President Trump’s opponents know they can’t take him down by going after the agenda he was elected to deliver, an agenda that threatens the whole rotten edifice that they have so painstakingly constructed over the last century, so they attack him with a thousand cuts. It’s like the Lilliputians tying down Gulliver with a thousand tiny strands.
And their war against Trump is now turning ugly and personal as they harass him at his most vulnerable area by going after his children. They are uncovering minutiae, things that would have been overlooked if the perpetrator was a more acceptable establishment figure like, say, Hillary Clinton, or John McCain, or Elizabeth Warren. It seems that everything that Trump does, and now everything that his children do, they try to criminalize. It’s amazing, under the circumstances, that President Trump can function at all.
Hillary Clinton gets away with deleting approximately 33 thousand emails, emails that were under subpoena from the FBI, while somehow The New York Times gets a hold of Donald Trump Jr’s private emails and then publishes them no questions asked. Jared Kushner is called a criminal for forgetting to disclose an inconsequential meeting he attended with a Russian woman while Elizabeth Warren gets away with claiming to be a Native American.
Democrats use information fed to them by the Russians to discredit the Trump Campaign while Trump is accused of collusion with no evidence. The New York Times' "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal," April 23, 2015, reported that Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, signed off on a uranium deal that allowed a Russian company to purchase American uranium and assume control over one fifth of American uranium production. The deal, partially hidden from the Obama administration, was followed by untold millions of dollars donated to the Clinton Foundation and a half a million dollar “honorarium” for former President Bill Clinton to speak in Moscow. But this would, of course, not constitute collusion with Russia.
Liberal Republicans in Congress, people like Speaker Paul Ryan, are going along by blocking President Trump's agenda to repeal Obamacare, cut taxes, and build the wall. Liberal commentators have contended that these Republicans never intended to repeal Obamacare, they only offered lip service expecting the Democrats, or one of their fellow liberals, to occupy the White House. They didn’t expect Trump to win and they are now exposed for the frauds that they are. These liberal commentators are right. Meanwhile, Americans are now faced with the advent of a government run healthcare system that will ration our care, tell us what we are allowed to receive, and letting us die as people do in all other socialized healthcare systems.
One consequence of the criminalization of Trump’s every move, a consequence that is unforeseen, is that if Trump goes down, and they are openly trying to take him down, all other office holders in the future will be subject to the same level of scrutiny. Going forward, any move an officeholder makes, and this will likely percolate down to state and local politics over time, can and will be criminalized by the opposition. Every time a politician talks to someone, every time they hold a meeting, every move they make will leave them open to criminal charges and this may include friends and family members. Our government will become paralyzed. Perhaps this is their goal.
