Putin Propaganda: Ukraine is Filled with Nazis

“There is no such thing as a former KGB man.”

–Vladimir Putin (1952- )

Another in a series of lies by the master of Russian espionage tradecraft, disinformation, Goebbels-style propaganda and killer of innocents, Vladimir Putin.

There’s a campaign of whispers going around. Weak people always whisper lies. God knows who’s behind it.

Have you heard them?

Apparently, the latest particular lie goes in some variation of this: “Ukraine is filled with Nazis.”

When I first heard this from a Republican congressman, I thought to myself, “That doesn’t sound right.”

I lived in Moscow; met Putin at his June 2000 inauguration; traveled all over Ukraine and have many friends there. I highly doubt the rumor-mongers can say the same.

Conservatives who say these kinds of cleverly fabricated, false ideas are either useful idiots or actually trying to expand the war and America’s role in it.

Democrats say it too, but more carefully; they’re sneaky.

These people cannot possibly say awful things about Ukraine and despise Putin simultaneously.

You must pick a side. And they do through their utterances.

And Biden clearly enjoys dragging his feet on helping Ukraine.

He was putting out the welcome mat to Putin to invade Ukraine by widely saying he didn’t know what he’d do if there was “an incursion” into Ukraine, and that’s something no competent president would ever do.

Biden has been signaling to Putin that he’s got a green light since January. Delaying the fighter jets to Poland; keeping mum — not one word — on Victoria Nuland’s revelation to Congress that we have the terrifying presence of U.S.-funded biological weapons labs all over Ukraine; and the repeated, feckless anti-Putin public statements he makes, overruled by the White House each time, prove the spineless, almost supportive, Biden view.

Does any of this involve the Biden family’s corrupt Ukrainian activities?

And does anybody else see the constant support of Palestine and loathing of Israel by Democrats — their anti-Semitism — as yet another rationale for their underlying support of Putin in this genocidal war?

The Holocaust anyone?

So they carry on as if they care about the Ukrainian people and the total annihilation and barbaric suffering they undergo daily. They don’t.

Changing popular opinion by saying that Ukraine is filled with Nazis is right out of the Marx/Goebbels/Stalin propaganda playbook.

So here’s how and why that is such a perverted, dangerous untruth.

As the Soviet Union and Putin’s Russia treated them revoltingly over the decades, Jews quite rightly emigrated. If they could.

Those who didn’t end up in gulags, work camps, or the dreaded Lubyanka Prison in the KGB building, had to escape.

So from the time of the Russian Revolution, the writing was on the walls for Russian Jews. They knew they weren’t welcome in the new Soviet Union and that’s a shrieking understatement. It was life or death; leave or be butchered.

They headed for points unknown around the globe and safety.

The lucky Russian Jews left for and arrived safely in Israel after World War II. Israel was the safe bosom they hoped for and hugged them close. It’s the main reason for the Tel Aviv miracle — millions of mathematical and software wizards landing in the Jewish Homeland.

Before and after the establishment of the state of Israel, the vast majority headed for Ukraine. During the terrorizing reign of horrors by Lenin and Stalin, unfortunately for the Russian Jews seeking security, both Lenin and Stalin bullied them in Ukraine as if they owned them.

In the years 1930 to 1932, Stalin murdered at least 5 million Ukrainians (and credible reports of up to 15 million circulate), mostly Jews. Called “The Holodomor,” this man-made famine was just as brutal as Hitler’s satanic “final solution.”

We should all agree that the Soviet Union/Russia has a repugnant history of hatred and maltreatment of Jews. It’s fact.

So, what does a visitor to Russia today see? Well, much the same as the last 100 years: a country with very, very few Jews.

And what does a traveler see in Ukraine today and over the last 80 years? Jews, lots of Jews. And though I’m not Jewish, I support the state of Israel forcefully.

I must say that as I assessed my time in both Russia & Ukraine, I was struck by this contrast: Russia, a diabolically tyrannical country ruled by the worst human beings imaginable — Marxist-Leninists — and Ukraine, a country with beautiful, free and happy people, remarkable architecture, superb restaurants and nightlife, and friendly welcoming people.

The children were extraordinary; so well behaved with smiles all around. The entire country was filled with liberty-loving happiness.

And oh, the churches were jam-packed with Orthodox worshippers brimming with faith and hope.

All of the beauty and most of the people of Ukraine are gone now.

God help them all. There is a point at which all we can do is pray. That is this point.

Whenever you hear somebody tear down Ukraine, ask them if they’ve been there.

And remember, like there’s no ice in Iceland and no green in Greenland; there are few Jews in Russia and many Jews in Ukraine.

Conversely, there are few Nazis in Ukraine. It’s a Putin lie.

A historic, continuing pursuit and destruction of Jews is what’s fundamental to Putin’s multi-faceted rationale for going into Ukraine. Putin despises Jews.

“I’ll start with the fact that modern Ukraine was created by Russia, more precisely, Bolshevik, Communist Russia. This process began almost immediately after the revolution of 1917 and Lenin and his associates did it in a very rude way toward Russia itself — by separating, tearing away from its part of its own historical lands. Of course, nobody asked about anything to the millions of people that lived there.”  – Vladimir Putin (1952- )
