We can't begin to understand the violence and unrest in this country without first understanding the Democratic Party’s warm embrace of the most hate-filled elements of the far-left.

It begs the question, "What happened to the Democratic Party of Bill Clinton, let alone the party of John Kennedy?"

It seems just a few years ago, ordinary Democrats would never have gotten on board with the kinds of things we now see daily.

The streets of our nation's major cities and small towns alike teem with those  who despise you and me, especially if we support our military and law enforcement — let alone President Trump.

Democratic Party politicians and cable news personalities are perfectly happy to give them succor.

If you say anything that conflicts with their political ideology, then childish, self-righteous "protesters" feel empowered, believing they have the right to literally physically attack.

For months, Democratic politicians, Fortune 500 companies, and almost every news outlet in the country told these people they hold the moral high ground, even as they burned American flags and Bibles along with churches, police stations, and car dealerships.

This program of coddling rioters ran right up to the very top of the Democratic Party, where members of Joe Biden’s campaign staff, and even Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., herself, pooled together to bail out people arrested for serious violence at the "mostly peaceful protests," helping them get reintroduced into, otherwise civil, society to start more fires as quickly as possible.

The anti-American thugs are emboldened by such support.

Their violence, lawlessness and disorder they create are now factor in at all levlels of daily American life.

In Delaware, two women berated a seven-year-old and stole his hat because it bore the words "Make America Great Again." Following President Trump’s RNC nomination acceptance speech in Washington, D.C., Alice Johnson — the black great-grandmother released from prison after President Trump granted her clemency — and Senator Rand Paul, who wrote the "Justice for Breonna Taylor Act," had to be rescued by police from a baying mob of "protesters" intent on inflicting physical harm to them, and to any innocent bystanders who happened to get in the way.

Democrats knew exactly the type of people they were siding with when they started cheering on the groups responsible for this summer’s unrest.

Black Lives Matter (BLM), the group, was created by admitted "trained Marxists" who despise this country and its values, including the very concept of a nuclear family.

Black Lives Matter insists on a revolution from within.

Antifa is a coalition of anarchist and Marxist militants that prominent Democrats still pretend is a figment of our imagination even after they murdered a Trump supporter in Portland and attacked police officers in Wisconsin while brazenly identifying themselves as Antifa.

In recent months, the Democratic Party has shamelessly endorsed these groups’ aims and adopted them as their own militant arm.

Democrats have stood by or even justified their extreme violence against police, innocent people, and property. Democrats have characterized the violent takeover of city streets as "a block party" and a "Summer of Love," even as the militants stand in the middle of streets blocking pedestrian and vehicular traffic, while savagely attacking people who try to pass through.

Democratic leaders around the country continue to echo the phrase "Black Lives Matter."

That was obviously always more of a signal to the rioters that they’re on their side than any genuine expression of concern over Black lives, because they clearly do not care about the spike of Black deaths in Chicago, Baltimore, Minneapolis, and other cities nationally, brought on by lawlessness.

These politicians, along with the usual bandwagon of Hollywood stars and millionaire athletes, have chosen to support career criminals who attack police and resist arrest.

They promote the lie that police departments all over the country engage in racial bias and kill innocent Black men at greatly inflated rates compared to whites.

In their minds, it is better to villainize the police over a tiny number of incidents, almost all of which are entirely justified, than reckon with the tidal wave of violence that their rhetoric has unleashed.

America is now reaping what the Democrats sowed with this ideology of hatred and lies. Someone has to take control of the Democratic Party and bring it back to the center — but Joe Biden has shown himself woefully unequipped to do that.

After ignoring the problem for months, even to the point of ignoring the ongoing riots throughout his own nominating convention, Biden’s new tactic is to blame Donald Trump for the violence unleashed by the radical left.

From day one of our nation's current crisis, the president has done nothing but try to empower law enforcement --- and restore order.

Democrats resisted those efforts tooth and nail, preferring to back the rioters until the polls showed them that was a disastrous plan.

Even now, all Joe Biden can do is muster vague condemnation of indiscriminate violence and wanton destruction, without directly identifying the criminal elements responsible for it.

A responsible Democratic Party presidential nominee would be out front, condemning Antifa and Black Lives Matter militants, while calling on lawmakers from both parties to bring federal law enforcement together with local police to end the violence this week.

Joe Biden, however, would prefer to pass the buck, still afraid to cross the radicals he’s counting on this November.
