Billie Eilish has been granted a permanent restraining order against an obsessed fan who repeatedly showed up on her doorstep without wearing a face mask while refusing to leave.

The singer filed for a restraining order last month, claiming that Prenell Rousseau would not leave her and her family alone, but she only received a temporary order, TMZ reported. Now a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has granted her a permanent one for the next three years.

Rousseau first started showing up on Eilish's doorstep in early May.

He would insistently ring the doorbell while not wearing gloves and lurk outside the house, refusing to leave. Rousseau also repeatedly asked Eilish’s father if the house was her residence and despite being told no, continued to return.

In legal documents filed by Eilish, the Grammy winner described one incident that left her shaken.

"While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused," she said, per TMZ.

Rousseau is now prohibited from coming within 100 yards of Eilish and her parents. He is barred from assaulting or harassing Eilish and her family and cannot appear anywhere near their workplaces. The order could be extended or amended should the judge deem it necessary.
