"America's Got Talent" contestant Dr. Brandon Rogers died in a car crash in Maryland over the weekend.

Rogers died just weeks before his "America's Got Talent" episode was scheduled to air, TMZ reported, adding that producers are considering whether to air the episode in light of the tragedy.

The 29-year-old singer, dubbed the Singing Doctor, was discovered by "America's Got Talent" producers who saw his cover of a Boyz II Men song on Instagram.

Boyz II Men invited Rogers to sing with them in Las Vegas in January, The Huffington Post noted.

Boyz II Men shared a statement about Rogers on Instagram.

His brother, Danni Rogers, confirmed the death on Instagram, thanking fans for their prayers and condolences.

"I lost my best friend yesterday, but to see all the lives he's touched brings joy to my heart," Danni Rogers wrote.

Twitter users shared condolences.
