Monday's 5-4 Supreme Court ruling supporting Ohio's policy of purging voters from registration rolls after several years of inactivity might have a much greater impact than initially reported, election experts tell Newsmax.

Justice Samuel Alito's majority opinion Monday cited a Pew Research Center study that found about one in eight voter-registration records in the United States — some 24 million — are either inaccurate or completely erroneous. Another 2.75 million people, the study found, are registered to cast ballots in more than one state.
