Democrats who have repeatedly blamed "corporate greed" as the cause of the sticker shock consumers are experiencing at the grocery store checkout line are simply ignoring the actual cause of inflation, economists argue.

New research from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco indicates that corporate price hikes were not a primary cause of the decades-high inflation that affected shoppers in 2021 and 2022.
