South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott will endorse Florida Sen. Marco Rubio for president on Tuesday,

Politico cited three sources in reporting the news Monday night as the Iowa caucuses were underway.
Scott and South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy hosted a series of town halls in their state in which they gave Republican candidates a chance to address voters.
South Carolina is the third state to vote in the GOP primary season behind Iowa and New Hampshire, and the first in the South. Republicans will choose their candidate on February 20.
