GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump attacked rival Jeb Bush on Tuesday for speaking Spanish to a group of constituents.
"I like Jeb," Trump told
Breitbart News. "He's a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States."
Trump was reacting to Bush's own criticism of Trump, who told a group of reporters in Miami, "El hombre no es conservador,"
The Tampa Bay Times reported. That translates to, "The man is not conservative."
Bush continued in English: "Besides, he tries to personalize everything. If you're not totally in agreement with him you're an idiot, or stupid, or don't have energy, or blah blah blah."
Bush's wife is a native of Mexico, and he says he speaks Spanish in his home.
