Seven Charged in $225.6M Medicare Fraud in La.

A federal grand jury indicted seven suspects in a Medicare fraud case that the U.S. says resulted in $225.6 million in fraudulent claims billed to the government health-care program over six years, according to court papers.

The indictment was unsealed today in U.S. District Court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
