The Fort Pierce museum opened in 1985 and was recognized as a National museum by Congress in 2008. Notable exhibits include Apollo space crafts, vehicles the SEALs used in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq, rare artifacts, and original WWII-era obstacles used for demolition training.
